OK. So I swear I am going to start posting on a more consistent and regular basis. Starting today.
I created this card some time ago, but did not finish it until tonight. I do that alot. I start a project, get pulled away and then don't come back to the project for weeks or months on end. I started with the die cut card which I was given to work with. The die cut is a sliding pop up card cut in Bazzill Parakeet for the mechanism, and the tag and card base are cut in Bazzill Vanilla.
I had some grand adhesion stickers from K and Co but did not know what I was really planning on doing with them. Until I started thinking about how the card works. It's basically a pop up but on the outside of the card.
So now with the outside done and month's gone by, I still have not done the tag or under the flap of the front of the card. Then I was at Memory's as they were going out of business and they were selling off some K and Co rub-ons. Just what the card needed. (By the way if you view my previous posts you will see a link to the store, Scrapbook Destination, which is replacing the Memories store. I am so excited for Mary Kay! Sorry, I digress)
So there we have it, Good Times with Good Friends. Some times good things do come to those who wait. Hmm, who knew it?!
